Shaune Lisa Hattrick

Shaune Lisa is originally from Scotland, has travelled extensively and lived abroad in Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Shaune’s background has been 20 years in the Healing Arts profession working with Transpersonal Healing Therapies.

She trained in Fine Arts at Sydney University in 2002 but is otherwise self taught. Consistently painting for the past 15 years she has exhibited in several galleries in Sydney region and here in Motueka and Nelson. Over the last 5 years she has regularly had paintings published in the New Zealand Moon Calendar and Diary.

Shaune is inspired by the female form, people from different cultures and capturing life in shape and movement.

“I love to delve into the worlds of my imagination.

Presently I work in several mediums. Oil or Acrylic paints on canvas. Also with pastels, ink and pencil or any mixed media on paper or canvas. The idea and process is experimental and spontaneously unfolds as I go along...enjoying the surprises that emerge from my unconscious”.

Shaune now lives at Cable Bay Nelson, near the sea. She enjoys a diverse and creative lifestyle with her partner and her cat Rangi. She and her partner have their own small Studio/Gallery by their home, where they are open to viewings by appointment.
