Nelson Suter Art Society
to promote and encourage the cultivation and production of work in the visual arts
I have been a designer, illustrator and painter for over 30 years.
I’m traditionally trained in London at Westminster University and St Martins.
I paint in a variety of mediums - oil, watercolour and digital.
My work is influenced by the weather - especially bad weather! - and by climate change issues
(Silent Seas Series). I also work on a lot of animal portraits, some commissioned and some just for my own enjoyment.
I’ve exhibited in group shows in the UK and here in New Zealand in Diamond Harbour
where I lived prior to moving to Nelson. I’m very proud to have been accepted as
a member of the Nelson Suter Art Society.
