Offering members exhibitions, workshops and support since 1889

The Nelson Suter Art Society is an organization dedicated to nurture, develop and promote art in the region. It is a base for artists to create community, spread ideas and exhibit their work. The Mckee Gallery –located inside the Suter Art Gallery– is the home of the society, and throughout the year it houses a varied exhibition programme, artist talks and workshops. With over 100 years of history, the NSAS continues to fulfill its purpose to support Nelson’s artistic community.

"We are all connected"

By Vicki Charles

15 October - 3 November

In this exhibition Vicki explores her emotional connectedness to humanity in her sculpture. Finding inspiration through the words of philosophers and spiritual teachers like Rumi, who speak of love and compassion; as well as from inner journeys, symbolism and dreams.
